Doing good on the net: SOS-Kinderdorf depends on donations to help children all over the world. The Task

SOS-Kinderdorf runs 46 different SOS communities in Germany and is also committed worldwide to helping disadvantaged children, youths and families. The aim of the relaunch was to meet the demands of the association’s complex structure and get even more people motivated to help.

The Solution

The website’s user-oriented navigation, its concise structure, modern design and greatly simplified donation and sponsorship processes now make it even easier to help SOS-Kinderdorf—and they make the entire site more attractive.

Since the new websites went online, Aperto’s editorial staff has also been providing SOS-Kinderdorf with editorial support. For over 50 years, SOS-Kinderdorf has been dedicated to the needs, concerns and rights of children, youths and families. Apart from the SOS-Kinderdorf villages where abandoned and neglected boys and girls find loving homes, other SOS communities have been established over the years such as training and maternity centres.
