Two silver medals for Aperto at the Annual Multimedia Award 2012: “Study in the East” and zanox campaigns win again!

Once again, the Berlin-based agency Aperto is to be honoured in a creative competition for its websites www.studieren-in-fernost.de and www.zanox.com. Both submissions are receiving a Silver Annual Multimedia Award 2012 in the "Website/Portal" category.

The “Far East Campus” at www.studieren-in-fernost.de and the corporate website of ZANOX.de AG, www.zanox.com, are Aperto’s winning team this award season. The websites already won two coveted web awards back in September and now Aperto is looking forward to two more silver awards in the “Website/Portal” category at the Annual Multimedia Award 2012.

As a students’ portal, the “Far East Campus” is the core of the multi-award winning “Study in the East” campaign. Since 2008, Scholz & Friends (campaign management and PR) and Aperto (online/digital) have been the service providers behind this campaign. They successfully promote the study programmes at 44 universities in eastern Germany on behalf of the “university initiative in the new German states”. This nationwide online campaign is particularly geared towards secondary school pupils from former West Germany, who can obtain information on over 1,382 different study programmes in the new German states on the virtual “Far East Campus”. Aperto designed the website with a distinct paper-cut look—a modern variation of classic origami—and it also serves as an informational platform for other relevant target groups such as teachers, parents, vocational counsellors and media contacts. The creative collaboration between the Berlin-based agencies has now been honoured with an Annual Multimedia Award.

Aperto is receiving the second Silber Annual Multimedia Award for the corporate website created for ZANOX.de AG at www.zanox.com. “Straight to performance" – based on this claim which perfectly describes the zanox corporate philosophy, Aperto Kreation developed the corporate design for the leading European and German network for performance advertising, including its corporate website with 15 different country versions. The portal’s design and usability are the result of the close collaboration between Aperto’s concept, design and technology divisions. The typography Aperto used is particularly striking, and the site also stands out with its single-column layout and intuitive accessibility to the zanox services.

For the 16th time now, the renowned jury of the Annual Multimedia Award will honour this past year's very best multimedia productions from the German-speaking region. Once again, trends and developments in the multimedia industry can be identified in the 114 award-winning works from German and Austrian agencies. Most of the submissions were websites and portals, followed by microsites and banners. All winners will be presented in an Annual Multimedia 2012 yearbook for digital marketing.
